Finding Eldercare

Parental Choice Family Care recognises there can be many worries and stresses experienced by those who are juggling career success with worrying about the health and welfare of an elderly relative.

We want to help you find the best care solution for your elderly relative in what can be a very sensitive and emotional time.

The Parental Choice Family Care team have created helpful guides and factsheets to help you navigate the minefield of care options, processes, finances and legalities of finding care for an elderly relative.

When assessing your eldercare options, it helps to decide which features are essential, which you would really like, and which you would like but could live without.

Deciding which option is best for you depends on a number of factors, and the questions below can help you make this decision.

Care home search

If you are looking for a care home place, we can help with this process for you. After a care assessment has been made by your relative’s local council, we can help you identify the care homes in their chosen search area which match your requirements. Download and complete our registration form and our team will be in touch to discuss how we can help and explain the processes for you.

In-home care help

If your elderly relative requires in-home care and is looking to employ someone to help, we can assist with their obligations as an employer. Parental Choice Payroll can run their payroll and deal with the HMRC on their behalf, as well as reviewing any pension obligations, plus the creation of a legal employment contract.

You can always call Parental Choice if you have any further questions
