Nanny Employment Contracts

If you are employing a nanny you must by law provide them with a contract of employment within two months of their start date. This will detail what you expect from each other and set out all your obligations and her duties. Pensions

From 1 October 2017, all new employers will have to auto-enrol their eligible employees into a qualifying pension scheme. In other words, from your employee’s start date, if they earn over £10,000 gross per year and are over 22 years old, you will have to set up a pension for them and enrol them into that scheme within four weeks.
