Parental Choice is pleased to announce that it will be partnering with L’Oréal (UK) Limited to introduce a family support package for L’Oréal’s working parents in the UK. The package, designed to help balance family and working life, includes:

• advice on types of childcare
• tailored childcare searches from nurseries to nannies, maternity nurses to tutors
• nanny payroll and employment contracts
• a communications programme focused on child development and combining career with childcare
• access to a number of exclusive retail discounts dedicated to working parents.

Isabelle Minneci, L’Oréal UK & Ireland HR Director: “We appreciate that the recruitment and retention of talent requires an understanding of the challenges facing working parents, in particular, working mothers. Supporting them means recognising the pressures that they’re under and giving them the tools they need to achieve a successful work-life balance. Our partnership with Parental Choice complements initiatives already in place to support our working parents, including flexible working options and supportive maternity leave policies.”

Sarah-Jane Butler, founder of Parental Choice said ‘I am keenly looking forward to using my experience and the skills of my team to offer real, measurable value to the employees at L’Oréal (UK) Limited. Although the issues faced by working parents are well documented it is not yet as commonplace as it should be to find employers who understand and make provision to accommodate the family commitments of their staff. We are delighted to be working with such a forward thinking company as L’Oréal (UK) Limited’.
